RELIGIOUS
AWARDS FOR SCOUTS
Religious awards
are offered as a supplement to religious education programs of the
Church. In earning the awards, scouts explore their faith in relationship
to church, family and friends in a scout context.
Awards are earned
by completing projects outlined in awards books available for each award.
Awards are earned by working through a religious awards counselor.
Awards are presented
in the scout's parish or at the annual Celebration of Scouting event,
hosted by the diocese.
Please see the links
on the right for information about specific awards.
